THE TALENT SHOW IS SOLD OUT!
THE TALENT SHOW IS SOLD OUT!

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Friends,

Today was an amazing delight! I was eating a rare lunch out at Harry's with my brilliant cousin Bill, a University of Arizona botany professor, and all of a sudden before us appeared a beautiful vision: Sixth grader Delaney Smith was there silently grinning from ear to ear and holding a big, beautiful trophy. And I knew: SHE HAD JUST WON THE REGIONAL SPELLING BEE! Competing against students from all over the county, Delaney correctly spelled dozens of very difficult words, and her parents had taken her to lunch to celebrate. Thus, everyone at Harry's (lucky me included) got to enjoy this fantastic achievement with her. Delaney is the first Peabody student EVER to win this competition and is now on her way to the State Finals in May. Rowan Peake (grade 6) also did very well today. Congratulations!

Sincerely,

Kate Ford, Principal
